oh that explains why i got google search results entirely unrelated to videogames
rivals of AETHER
yes not the plant
i wonder if my music reminds anyone else of something else, like for example a videogame. i know my earlier music from like 2-3 years ago sounded very much like banjo-kazooie music but i’m not sure what my music sounds like now, and it’s probably because i’m me, the person who created the music.
(between 2-3 years and one year ago i did not improve at making music because i wasn’t making/learning anything about music)
ok if you really think so you can go on a mission for FF to check if there is a game that sound simlair yah
it doesn’t sound like either… but there is still something familiar about the music, especially at the beginning. it could be mariokart
mega man?? maybe
I just decoded the youtube algorithm.
Also did you know you can have multiple instruments in one channel? You need to click on Edit, then click on Channel settings, then you can change the Instruments per channel number. If you have more than one instrument per channel, you can assign different instruments to each pattern in a channel. This would be helpful in songs with many instruments since BeepBox does have a maximum for the amount of channels you can use (6)
the most viewed video on CKC is… Just Shapes and Beats #4. The description has “suffering”. the 3rd most viewed video also has “suffering” and is Just Shapes & Beats.
boom, youtube algorithm solved… for my channel
that has nothing to do with the discussion.
also,
…i’m pretty sure the youtube algorithm works by looking at videos you have already watched and it looks at the video’s title and description and how much you watched it and its tags and it tries to find a common trend from the videos you watch to infer what you like to watch, like if you have watched a lot of minecraft videos there is going to be a lot of minecraft videos in your recommended, if you watch 5 daddy finger nursery rhyme videos for research then youtube will think you like daddy finger videos and put them in your recommended
i’m still active just not that much sorry and I quite i have my own stuff to work on sorry
So once we finish most of the music, what do we do now? Are there other things i can help with?
animation is one !
ok to test go into the game and the alamac section
there should be a character that looks like a cat
steal the idle sprite and animate it moving (left or right doesn’t matter, just choose one)
and also make a rising/jumping animation
this little gal?
Do I just make some animations on a different wick file for this character?
yes do it
text text text
hey how do you loop a section of animation through coding?
like it will keep on looping until you press an input, and then it will play a different section of the animation.
I wanted to view the character’s animation states (the idle, jump, and running) by themselves.
*meanwhile tiny question*
whats the name of this kitten? i dont want to take too much time trying to figure out the name of this one (trying to name the clip after this character).
I’m trying to do this just for convenience of previewing the animation
dont worry we’ll handle it in the game just give us the animation
