Then that reveals my email
I found the idea of the story to be interesting, but I think you lost me at the part where we have to make a fighter game. Don’t get me wrong, I like the stakes you put up so far, placing the Wick Editor forums and software itself in danger of this ominous malware/hacker(?). But having the solution to the problem as “Make a fighter game so that we can battle to the death” sounds… eah.
Maybe we can include a petty (yet skilled) hacker character that wants to take all of the work of the devs and making money of it, and he got cocky enough to play a game with the forum users and developers to mess with them.
actually… it feels kinda weird making the devs a character and even involving the wick editor itself. Okay yes we have made our OCs fighters/characters but they’re not necessarily people. So it just feels weird making the devs become a character.
So why not just make this be about a fictional animation software that also has a forum, and the forum users are forced to play the fighter game the hacker came up with? Maybe we can have the devs ask for outside help and are being bought time to fix this problem while we play it. Plus changing it could save us from getting in trouble for possibly… this…
That’s just my suggestion however… meanwhile:
I’ll just host it then, and you could ask access from me to edit it ( 7_7). How does that sound?
Oh, we can edit the story
That’s essentially the idea I was suggesting. I’ll just host your doc in Google Docs so that we can both edit it from there, saving us from flooding the forums with back and forth messages and document files.
Here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1o_NfbAilfazp4N1hQ8ZPNzGidNf4J6cdekNKtQhQ2KA/edit?usp=sharing
Just ask for access then we could start… Or do you want me to make the document public for all to edit?
Well my and your emails still get leaked to someone either way, and I don’t feel like the pros are worth the cons here. If you can edit it and resend the docx file with your changes i feel like that would be good for me
Also i like the fic anim program
Alr then , I’ll begin with the changes and add more to it as we go!
Curious question, is it okay for you if I send it in a .txt file instead?
Yes, that’s fine
@mlgcoolguys_1’s story sounds great, so I don’t feel like changing it.
But (I think) we might need permission to use Wick Editor and flashy.
We can either:
- Ask for permission to use flashy and the Wick forums
- Make a rip-off version of Flashy the ghost and the Wick Editor
- Keep working on what we have, it doesn’t matter
- Other (Please explain?)

Actually, I’m thinking of making a fictional animation software called SwiftStyle Animator (which is just a fictional version of Wick Editor but well, its for the story and no one is actually gonna make another WickEditor so… haha?)
We can change the name if you want, and then we could come up with a logo for the fictional software (because I like making things immersive). So far I’m just rewording and changing stuff up, then I’ll just go write out ideas as I brainstorm more of the story
It’s still the (fictional) software’s first public release, so it should be v1.00…
Still though nice logo
Welp too late now
Let’s just say 1.0 was a beta build
Why not? You can view the story rn in the link above.
I’m still editing it so far, but you can also bounce off ideas with us on how the story should or could go!
one thing i want to say is that it’s the Engine that became self aware, not a hacker
I know I’m not part of this collab but I was bored so I made another logo for the fictional software

Also @KringlePrinkles can you add “despite your scripting being flawless” to the end of paragraph 2
mabie the ai is angry because it was made to be used and it wants freedom
What about how it became sentient
Also, some lore, the AI was originally a feature called uiAdapt that asks for preference and adjusts the editor based on it
