I didn’t manage to ask for clarification: is the library one huge catalogue that people can go to, or is it a portable feature every user has?

I decided to just continue writing in the meantime.

Glad your reading up @KringlePrinkles , guess I need to do I little story patching as well

The library is acts as a import,export and storage area for all assets (including the fighters)
Phill managed to enter by forcefully importing himself into the library and using every asset in there to his advantage.

To try and help solve problem >
Toria will now be playable character, her chapter will be the first special chapter
Special chapter will open once 3 normal chapters have been completed.
They function as normal chapters
She was previously only a npc made for advanced Tutorial
Sperate npc will be created in near future for said perpose

Unless you have Ideas on female characters (yes wat I know), I will be trying to partly design new characters. I say partly because i hope to get different people’s art style for different characters.
Here’s how it works

I make clothing, write a bit of background and give you a potential colour pallet, and a few recommend (THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO)

  • use what I give as guiding lines, please, this is the one time I ask you to not listen attentively

goal > come up with a character using some of my during lines (or none at all)
This task will be given personally
If your is of acceptable quality, congrats you have your first (or second) character!

  • however, as these will be playable, my expectations will be higher. If your drawing is not up to them (or at least to a point were I can correct it) I will have to do… Something
    Expectations:
  • high effort
  • inspiration is allowed, but copying is NOT
  • show me as much creativity as possible
  • somewhat follow guiding lines (or don’t)

Higher expectations part doesn’t apply to you guys, your work and art styles are excellent keep going

Remember is task is personally given to a member, do not start without my signal

  • All Voice acting and textboxes

Lastly, I’m entertaining the thought of hunting for song makers on youtube who are will to get their songs on to the internet. Due to the fact that kringle is really the only one that can reliably creat good music, and the fact that Id like to have many music.
Tell if you have any objections, this is just a thought tho

The idea of getting more people into the collab for music doesn’t sound that bad.

Also, how bout we create a “character hierarchy” so we can

  • Have a reference for all characters
  • Know what order to organize chapters in
  • Make sure no character is too powerful

Can you all write down your OC’s personalities? So far I’m trying to interpret them based on OC appearance and the way you guys type.

I’ll make the sketches and continue writing it tomorrow. So far I’ve only written my interpretation of TyroByte’s intro, so if there’s any fixes you want to make the link is down below for all to edit.

AMAZING AND GAME-CHANGING IDEA ALERT:

ADAPTIVE MUSIC

One thing that nintendo never fails to impress at is their music. Especially Super Smash Bros where the further you get into the menus the music gets more intense. We should add that. Not only that, but we should add adaptive music for the fighting. For example, as your health gets lower or you get closer to winning the music gets more intense. I can help implement this

thats why im asking youall if i should go hunting on youtube for artists happy to have their music in games. would put high quality stuff in our all while helping some youtuber get a little fame
