@Donut since i randomly feel like working on this again, can you helo me figure how to get the character select to sync with the levels so it can be the character that is chosen?
@Rods_Animations i can help with that what you need to do is make a while true statement saying if a certain button is pressed then charcter linked with it will bethe chosen character and everything else goes invisible so put every character ontom of eachother but make it so that only one can be visible at a time
actually dont use an while true statement use an if statement
this is what it would look like or the gist of it atleast
if(āMouseclickā)true{set.opacity other characters assets for that side here 0}
i dont know how
basically, to have variables across frames, you need to have it as project.(variable name)
do i put multiple for each character in 1 clip?
var options=[rei,alex,sam,yellow,box,rod,blue,redguy,guyinjacket]; could this work?
donāt use the parenthesis,
donāt try to define the var
keyword
do it like this
project.characters = [rei, alex, sam, yellow, box, rod, blue, redguy, guyinjacket]
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ok thanks
hey sorry i didnt see this i have one other thing for the coding you want to make sure before putting anything in to move stuff DEFINE THE VARIABLES i can not stress this enough if you dont define it nothing will work and or it will move everything that falls into that catagory
soā¦ the files are definitely to large to send through here so how is this going to workā¦ cuz i have time to work on it now
bro im in a whole new school district
60% of the main files are gone :/
this is the last file ihave
RIP FF 2022-2023, was fun while it lasted
nah. Iāve been focused on learning HTML / JavaScript, but Iāve still been using wick for some animation stuff. But I think I might come back to Wick for making games, since html is really difficult to make games from the ground up in.
ah alright
