How to add a drop shadow to text or an image?

What have you tried so far?
What I currently do is add a drop shadow using Glimpse or Inkscape.

Kinda. A drop shadow:

can have a blur, and
it stays linked to the text above it.

I wanna make GIFs/videos where the text looks more lively as it moves. A drop shadow would greatly aid in that.

Here’s an example. The first text has no drop shadow. The two below it have different kinds of drop shadow.

Hi @random, I believe Wick Editor doesn’t have a built-in feature for adding a drop shadow to text/ clip objects yet. However, this would be a great feature to have in the future.
