In, Out, Back, Quint, Circle, etc.
the programe is like some 2 years with no updates, so it wont happend
hmmm, coding easing style is pretty hard ngl
We already have in and out. For the rest, just use Flash Animate’s custom easing tools.
for me i use flash 8, animate is too expensive just because of better ui and html5 , that is an thing wick does since 2016
OpenToonz is better because it has a similar release schedule, and it’s open source, making bugs easier to squash.
Just like Blender. And Wick Editor itself. And GIMP. And Linux. And so on…
that will never happen the last update was in 2021 I doubt they’re going to update wick editor anytime soon.
I think Wick Editor’s team has a flatland structure, just like Valve. No wonder why there’s no Wick 2.0.
Perhaps we can make it ourselves!
its like scratch, they take avarege 5 years to update
scratch’s update was only because flash was going away, so they HAD to port it to html5. if it wasn’t, we’d still be on 2.0
I’m sure they’d make 3.0 regardless of Flash dying or not. HTML5 would still be the future of web development!
If Wick were in the shoes of Scratch, I’m certain that it’d still die.
Also, welcome back to the forums.
i show up every six months or so and then dip
yea, but it’s best if we stick to the ones we have until wick gets an update (sometime soon)
Me too. I don’t have money for Adobe Animate.
That’s a good point.
then get an older version, they’re on ebay for cheap or you can just get an older version of it. That and there’s Krita Opentoonz or something, anything!
we already have in, out
I think there could be a way to add more easing styles to Wick Editor! They’re already defined here, and the code editor can modify the project itself! Working on this idea next
Edit: This project will define another easing style! (It looks the same as “in”, but the name is “blah”) My Project6-23-2033_11-59-59.wick (2.1 KB)
New easing styles! bounce.wick (2.0 KB)
bounce bounce! Still figuring out the Bezier function though.
Edit: I got the Bezier easing working: attempt2.wick (3.1 KB) But Wick Editor resets the tweens’ easing style when it loads, because “blah” is not defined yet. So, a solution would be to load a project that injects the new easing styles, and then load the main project.
So first open loadstyles.wick and then open your project with custom easing for it to work properly.
