At the moment, the eraser tool is still being developed

The shortcut for erasing was meant to be holding “e” or “backspace,” then clicking the pixels, but I removed this shortcut several updates ago since it caused autosave and file code bugs

I will try to re-add this tool in the next update, I added it to my to-do list (note: I’m planning on changing the whole UI design too since I’m running outta room for new features…).

In the meantime, you can use “ctrl” + “z” to erase pixels, or draw new pixels on top to hide them
(there’s also an undo button - image - but no redo button)

ah ok Thanks for this reply. but i have one more Question for today. are you planing to upload this Project in Higher framerate? or is a Higher Framerate making Problems?

I’m planning on improving the project frame rate by compressing the file as much as possible. The project is currently under a good size, so I might make a new version of Pixel Lide for bigger projects (it’s more likely to have less features, but should be capable of running bigger projects).

As for viewing bigger/ longer animations and stuff, I’m currently “raw coding” a separate project that should be able to run long animations at a faster fps using a “blob file.” The progress on that is pretty good, and you’ll be able to download image files too once that is out

-Good Things: The program is great for PixelAnimation also the Tutorials are Nice too! I think This Program deserves way more I Hop this Badge can help you :smiley: Most of the tools are working without any Problems Also The saving feature is in my eyes GroundBrakig for the wick. and not just the saving feature nearly everything is GroundBarking!!!

-bad things: Expect from some Bugs, works the Program Great I didn’t have Interruptions. it does only need some Polish but besides that works the Programm Great!

Heyy uhh hazmah al alini, umm we are starting an initiative called game mentors initiative where we teach children from ngos curretnly in india game developing, so we were asking could you provide us with like how did you create this if possible yknow like make a video on it based out on the entire process to make it so we can teach those children to make something like this on their own selves

Oh yes ofc, I would love to teach about this! But unfortunately I have college at the moment, so I won’t be able to put together a tutorial anytime soon.

In the mean time, I’m curious… can I learn more about this game mentors initiative?
Also, if you’re teaching kids about game development, wouldn’t it be better to have the tutorial be on how to create an actual game rather than a pixel software?

I also won’t be able to explain everything about how I created Pixel Lide inside one video, just bc there are a lot of different features I added and there’s a lot more improvements to be made, but I can go over a simpler version of pixel lide.

well i mean yeah but i mean this looks very interesting as well, you tell me your email so I could share with you more information about this ok a simpler version would also be fine, and I was hoping to start the RPG game which we had as well the collaborative one which has unknown shadow working on it and you were like collaborating with a lot of other people

Looks really sick i was like really impressed with what @Hamzah_Alani had done because people were able to make some amazing things like this on what originally turned out to be an animation making platform that is why I wanted to integrate

Also i now noticed that kinda looks like your profile picture @gamer_boi well done!
