Hi everyone!
I’m a designer and a big fan of Wick Editor. I love that it’s open-source and accessible, and I’d like to contribute by helping make the user interface (UI) even better and more intuitive for new users.
Why I want to help:
While the editor is powerful, I believe some parts of the layout could be streamlined to help beginners find tools faster and reduce the “learning curve”.
What I can offer:
- UI Mockups: I can create visual designs for updated toolbars, inspectors, or timeline layouts.
- Icon Design: Creating clearer, more modern icons for the drawing and animation tools.
- Feedback & Testing: Reviewing the current “Candlestick” or beta versions to identify any confusing areas.
Where should I start?
I’d love to hear from the moderators (@moderators) or the lead developers (Zach and Luca) on which parts of the interface are currently a priority for improvement. Is there a specific design task or a GitHub issue I should look at first?
Looking forward to helping the community!
