that’s no easy task, way beyond my ability.
you would need to do these:
- make a physics engine
- connect nodes to lines with trig
- make lines springy and bendable
maybe some of the other people on this forum can help, we’ll see.

do you imagine physics at shape level (vertex displacements) or chains of shapes?
I think there could also be performance issues.
We’re replacing the hit test functionality in 1.19, while you won’t get native soft body physics, the new hit test will make it much easier to create some simple physics systems.

or (shameless plug) you can try to use my platformer engine and link little blocks together to make a bigger block. the blocks are “players” and they have controls, so you might want to get rid of them or redo them to fit soft body mechanics.
now that i say it I’m kinda interested to try this :o
