Windows Defender warned that your app is not recognized and can be a threat.
nah just click ‘read more’ and then click ‘run anyway’. The devs wouldnt make this tool for so long just to turn it into a virus (unless you downloaded Wick Editor elsewhere other than the official www.wickeditor.com, then definitely not).
It’s the first time windows defender has heard of Wick Editor, but its a harmless animation tool. so it should be fine when you run it. 
I have the app and it’s harmless
The app version isn’t any different from the web version, they’re all the same type of magic
I agree, and recommend downloading it from either github, or Wick Editors sites download page: https://www.wickeditor.com/#/download/
Also,
unless you check all the code you can never say a piece of software is harmless 
it’s probably because windows defender doesn’t know anything about the app,
so that doesn’t necessarily mean that the wick editor app is malware (as long as you downloaded it from the official site)
