PLEASE ADD HOLD SHIFT KEY TO DRAW STRAIGHT LINES. I NEED TO DRAW STRAIGHT LINES.

Click the diagonal line on the toolbar with all the brushes

at first i interpreted their suggestion to make it so that you can draw lines at 45-degree or 30-degree increments. you can already draw lines, but you have to carefully move your mouse to make it perfectly straight.

I was an Adobe Flash user long ago. And I really like the Wick. I’m really considering support it both with patreon and source code (I’m a developer too). I hope this amazing free program will get better. Thanks for everything👌🏻

scuffed way to make a line angle exactly how you want it to, down to the degree:

  1. get the line tool
  2. draw a very short straight vertical line, and look closely at the pixels to make sure it’s truly straight
  3. since you have a perfectly straight line (the width is NaN), you can do whatever you want with it. except change the width when the number is still NaN. if you don’t want it to be straight, you can change the rotation to something like 45, click away, and click back.
