i think having a channel inside the official discord would help us a lot, it’s more about if luxapodular wants to do that.

How are we supposed to play the game together in the first place, since it’s a local multiplayer game?
if it’s with 2 forum people who don’t know each other, we can’t. if we magically hook it up to a cloud, then we can play with each other.

while i would rather use discord if i wasn’t limited, i only have 15 minutes of chat. that includes both discord and hangouts and even other stuff that isn’t necessarily chatting. (wick forums is part of it, but it’s whitelisted. if i use 15 minutes of forum, i can’t use discord but i can go past 15 minutes for forum.)
I don’t have much discord access and therefore i will be significantly less active. i think the forum is the more intended way of chatting, and everyone who is in the collab obviously has a wick forum account. wick users don’t necessarily have a discord account.

Playground 2.0 is very close to being finished. Just to let you know, The story doesn’t end with Playground 2.0

nonetheless, the main purpose of having a discord chat is to:
- organise members
- send and receive files easier
- a backup plan (!)
- a place to spam random ideas to filter
- allows for more reactions
BUT
the forums will still be our main discussion platform because - baron
- this is the reason WHY the game even started
- to invite more people
- others

sorry, dont want to do voice lines. even though you prob don’t need reasons:
- i hate my voice lol
- i want to keep my privacy
- even if i wanted to, i think my voice is part of the wick privacy thing (the important reason)
actually, that third bullet would also mean that nobody can do voice lines.
if there’s a substitute i can do, I’ll consider doing that.
Maybe you could use a text-to-speech program for the voices?
(I realize I’ve basically never posted to this thread before, hope this isn’t awkward)
