Making/reassigning new paths via code (Solved for now I think)

Describe the Problem
So what I am trying to do is basically reassign or create new paths and connect them (to be able to more flexibly create objects).

What have you tried so far?
So far when I try to reassign the paths of an object it disappears and reappears once I stop the project

I know that the path exists and what-not I think it just isn’t rendering or something because I have been able to get values from it I just don’t see it anywhere
